Registration Information

The registration deadline is March 31, 2025. A confirmation email notice will be sent to you as soon as your on-line registration is received. Use the confirmation email as your billing statement/invoice.

Please submit a separate registration form for each person attending the Spring Conference from your organization.

Room block is open until March 31, 2025. The group rate is $129.00 plus taxes and fees. State Rate applies to those with a valid State ID, while those without will be charged the standard group rate.

The link to book online can be found below. The arrival date and departure date must be entered to see the group rate. Please keep in mind that the hotel service fee of $15 per night will be waived for your group if reservations are made within the block. This fee will initially appear at the time of booking, but it will be refunded upon checkout along with the incidental hold. If people would rather call in directly, the phone number is 605-339-2000.

For those eligible for the State Rate, please make the reservation and then email Jessica Rozell at j.rozell@sfcchotel.com the confirmation number to get it adjusted.

SDASFAA Refund Policy

All requests for refunds must be made in writing and sent to the Treasurer for approval.

A 100% refund is granted if the request is received at least 15 calendar days prior to the start of the activity. The treasurer will confirm that the fee was received, issue the refund, and notify the committee chair.

Due to planning requirements, SDASFAA cannot issue a refund for the registration fee after 15 days prior to the event; however, a substitute may attend in place of the original registrant.

A 100% refund may be allowed for immediate family medical reasons, death in the immediate family, or for persons who have resigned from their employing institution prior to the start of stated activity. Requests must be received no later than 15 days after the activity.
